Peanuts is now working with The Rodnik Band to create a capsule clothing line that incorporates specially designed prints that mix iconic Rodnik symbols with the Peanuts gang. The line will be comprised of sequin accessories and headwear, as well as dresses and separates.

This collaboration between Peanuts and The Rodnik Band was secured by The Licensing Company. Both Peanuts and TLC utilize MyMediabox hosted applications (Mediabox-DAM, and Mediabox-PA) to streamline their licensing processes with licensees globally.

Brooks Brothers Launches Gatsby Line

Brooks Brothers has released a collection of clothing and accessories inspired by Warner Bros. Pictures’ The Great Gatsby. Costume designer Catherine Martin collaborated with the men’s clothier and created more than 500 men’s looks seen in the film, using images and products from Brooks Brothers’ archives as inspiration. Brooks Brothers' limited edition collection, adapted from Martin’s creations, is now available in stores and online.

Many companies use MyMediabox applications to help them with similar types of collaboration. Our applications make collaboration between Licensees, Licensors, Agents and many other internal and external parties more efficient and cost effective.

Visit MyMediabox at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas at booth #A141 to see how our hosted applications streamline the product approval (Mediabox-PA) and style guide delivery (Mediabox-DAM) process. Email marketing@mymediabox.com to schedule a meeting.

Brain Waves: The Future of Fashion?

Traditionally when we think of fashion, we think of static accoutrements that we put on to express who we are. Now with fashion licensing, the opportunity for self expression has grown. Increasingly consumers will see their favorite character and fashion brands infused. But will fashion stop there?

The answer is no. What is in store for the future of fashion and fashion licensing? Japanese company, Neurowear, believes it is brain wave operated fashion. See below:

Initially after watching the video, I myself thought it was a joke. Then I visited their website. Necomimi (fluffy brain wave controlled animal ears) are their first big hit and have already been licensed to a popular Japanese anime show, "The Wolf Children, Ame and Yuki."

Other new product lauches including: shippo (a brain wave controlled tail) and bo-shippo (a brain wave controlled tail hat) were presented at the Tokyo Game Show September 20th-23rd.

Will we see brain wave controlled fashion at upcoming licensing shows? I hope so... can't wait to see which brands license this first!

My Mediabox is Attending Magic

My Mediabox executives will attend the MAGIC tradeshow in Las Vegas from February 13 to 15 to meet with apparel companies and to demonstrate Mediabox-DAM and Mediabox-PA applications.

We have received numerous inquiries about implementing Mediabox applications and are currently working with a major apparel company on the implementation of Mediabox-PA and Mediabox-DAM.

Magic is the perfect environment to showcase our digital asset management and product development workflow applications.  So much of the apparel design process is digital these days, with hundreds of digital assets and creative collaboration across multiple time zones and many contributors, each one providing feedback.

For more information or to schedule a meeting at MAGIC, contact Emilee at emilee@mymediabox or visit www.mymediabox.com.
