V&A Museum Ramps Up Licensing

MyMediabox client, V&A Museum, has signed two new licensees-- Marks, a Japanese stationary firm and Coast, a retail brand. Licensing out the rights to iconic patterns has allowed the museum to bring in revenue, that without licensing could have remain unrealized.

Marks will launch their V&A inspired products in Q1 and Q2 of 2013. The products will be available in Japan, Europe and the US. According to Licensing.biz, Coast's V&A ballgown line will launch in the spring of 2014 and replicate "the romantic and dramatic qualities of the V&A's renowned collection."

Product Approval Testimonial: V&A Museum

"As our business has evolved, we find ourselves dealing with increasing volumes of designs on ever expanding product categories. The Mediabox system enables us to manage the design and approval process from concept right through to final samples. It allows us to respond to licensees efficiently, no matter where in the world we, or they, happen to be. One key advantage of Mediabox is that multiple access by different users means that no matter how many people need to be involved and no matter how large the files, there are no longer delays in information getting through.

V&A Museum has been a valuved MyMediabox customer since 2009.
