Brand Licensing Europe Recap

Brand Licensing Europe is over and we had a fantastic time!

We had three full days catching up with our clients and demonstrating our Mediabox applications to other interested companies.

The show has definitely grown from previous years.  According to Licensingbiz.com, the show has doubled in size since 2006.  We observed numerous new booths at the show and noticed bigger crowds of people (and characters) roaming the show floors. 

There were numerous characters roaming the show floor this year including: Zhu Zhu pet characters, Johnny Bravo and Queen Elizabeth.  We were also able to spend some time with our old friends, the Smurfs!  

Ending up in jail put an interesting twist to this years show.  Well, Sanrio’s jail cell.  Before attending a meeting at the Sanrio stand, we were brought into its correctional facility booth where we had mugshots taken, and were greeted with stern police officers who interrogated us of our meeting.  We ended up meeting in a jail cell and then had a difficult time being "released".  What a great way to “lock in” business deals!
