On August 11, 2012 Conecture Technologies, LLC will attend the 2nd annual International Music Conference in Atlanta. Now that recording artists are thinking of themselves more and more as brands (much like Pepsi or Jeep are brands), they need a channel to store, share and streamline their assets for promotional endeavors (ie. licensing and/or merchandising). Conecture associates will meet with exhibitors in the music industry to demonstrate how MyMediabox software (specifically, Mediabox-DAM, digital asset management, and Mediabox-PA, product approvals) will provide a platform for the next level of music promotion.
Recording artists, labels, managers and promoters can utilize Mediabox-DAM to share digital assets (recording artist biographies, photographs, audio clips, music, interviews and more). Mediabox-PA would then facilitate the use of those digital assets for brand promotions. MyMediabox is a Sofware-as-a-Service technology, which means recording labels, managers and promoters would be able to reach artists even when they are on the road for product approvals. Artists would have the ability to view, comment, request changes and approve promotional items at anytime from anywhere.
Founder and CEO of Conecture Technologies, Eric Rennagel, states “We have always felt that both apps would be a good fit for the music industry. MyMediabox clients Jimmy Hendrix and Elvis have used the systems for years to ensure the integrity of their brand as they license out the rights to their intellectual properties. The verbiage may be different but the concept is the same. Hendrix and Elvis needed a system to approve products created by their licensees; recording artists need a system to approve promotional products created by their recording labels, managers or promotions teams.”
The 2nd annual International Music Conference will take place Saturday, August 11th at the Melia Hotel in downtown Atlanta.
