MyMediabox client, V&A Museum, has signed two new licensees-- Marks, a Japanese stationary firm and Coast, a retail brand. Licensing out the rights to iconic patterns has allowed the museum to bring in revenue, that without licensing could have remain unrealized.
Marks will launch their V&A inspired products in Q1 and Q2 of 2013. The products will be available in Japan, Europe and the US. According to Licensing.biz, Coast's V&A ballgown line will launch in the spring of 2014 and replicate "the romantic and dramatic qualities of the V&A's renowned collection."
